Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held

Tuesday,May3,2022 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Seth Axtman, Scott Fishell and Jon Baker present. Councilman Landeraaen was absent. Also, in attendance were John Leibrand, Kristy Jones, Jack Linquist, Don Hammar, City Attorney Ben Fosland, PWD Steve Berreth and Acting Clerk Janet Armbrust.

Public Comment – Kristy Jones gave history of her account at 505 Daniels St. It was confirmed that she had called on June 11, 2018 to have water set to full charges. It was never changed in the system. Water reading was high as it included all the usage. It was agreed that she would be charged for all of the usage and base rate for last month but not the base rate for previous months.

Jack Linquist discussed problems with sewer blockage that may possibly be caused from water project and if funds were set aside for problems caused by the project. Council decided to contact the engineer about the problems an...
