Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with councilmen Scott Fishell, SethAxtman, and Jon Baker present. Councilman Landeraaen was absent.

Pool Manager Report

– Tate Carney reported a smooth pool opening,other than opening a day later than planned and switching weekend hours to 1 to 5 pm (an additional afternoon hour) but closing night swim on weekends. Weekday hours remain the same. Swim lessons start soon, 40 kids registered; lifeguard training is underway..

Zoning Administrator Report t – Acting Zoning Administrator Steve Berreth presented three fence permits for 408 2nd Street, 601 A Street and 601 Main Street.

All permits in compliance.

Fire Chief Report – Fire Chief Wilder reported Fireman Brad Lamb offered to take on role of reporting and grant writing for fire department instead of going on calls. Fire Department feel...
