MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD SEPTEMBER 6, 7, AND 19, 2022.

REGULAR MEETING

September 6, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Lund, Linder and Humbert were present with the clerk, Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Morgan Lekvold, Mayor, City of Scobey, met with the Board regarding the ARPA funding money that the County is giving them. It is going to be used for relining and recoating the water tower on the hill.

Commissioner Linder made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve the August 2022 minutes, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board reviewed the Airport Project reimbursement form the KLJ Consultants fee. Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve the Chairman signing the form, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Inga Hawbaker, Extension Agent, met with the Board to have them sign the chemical jug grant. Commissioner Lund made a motion to apply for the grant, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board approved payroll for August 2022.

The Board reviewed the officer reports for August 2022.

The approved JV#s 8473-8475. Tammi Fladager, Superintendent of Schools, met with the Board by phone to discuss the School Budget and have the Board sign it.

J. Perry Wolfe met with the Board to report on the building appraisal by the insurance company. It was noted that the door on the Roping Barn needs secured and the steps for the fuel tank at the shop need stabilized.

The Board reviewed the findings of fact for the Richardson Minor Subdivision and the Mail Route Road Minor Subdivision. Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve the findings of fact, Commissioner Linder seconded the motion, all presen...
