THE LOCAL 4-H KIDS
THE LOCAL 4-H KIDS had their weigh-day on Sunday, January 8, at the Daniels County Stockyards in the northeast sector of Scobey. They guide their cattle projects onto the scale to record a weight and then see how much they grow between now and the upcoming 70th annual Daniels County Fair July 20-23, when they will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. From left in front are Halle Cromwell, Tylee Dahl, Hayzen Dobson and Madi Dahl; back row from left are Masen Green, Abby Summers and Mya Green. Not pictured are Oli Leininger and the Sones siblings — Delbert, Hazel and Sandra — who had weighed and left the scene. Nine steers were weighed. By the way, the weight of these seven 4-Hers, who are standing on the scale, came in at 720 pounds. — Leader Photo, mike
