Scobey New District Champs–
Three decisive victories in the tourney at Plentywood last weekend by the Scobey Spartans for the district championship, supplemented by one of the most successful pre-tournament seasons in school history here, enables the Scobey team to enter divisional playoffs in Glasgow as a likely favorite.
Ecton Wires REA Approves Loan– A telegram received from Sen. Zales Ecton at Washington D.C. states that the REA has approved a loan of $700,000 to the Northern Electric Co-Op for the construction of new lines in Daniels,ValleyandRoosevelt counties.
