Spartans To Host Indoor Track/Field Meet In Williston

The weather outside is frightful from a high school track and field perspective but the Scobey Spartans are still going to be competing in their first meet of the season on Friday, March 24.

That’s the good news. The great news is the meet will be indoors in a controlled climate.

The Scobey Indoor Invitational is set for The Arc in Williston, North Dakota (822 18th Street East), which is east of Highway 2 when heading north or south. It is near the Williston State College campus.

Five teams have confirmed they will be attending: host Scobey, Culbertson, Frazer, Wolf Point and Williston Trinity.

The first event is the girls and boys pole vault at 9 a.m. MDT (10 a.m. CDT in Williston). The rest of the field events look like this:
