BASKETBALL - From 10 to none in five short years: The Plentywood LionsYouth Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 22-24, 2024, a Friday, Saturday and Sunday slate. An aside, this past season's tourney in Plentywood had five Regina, Saskatchewan teams entered while Scobey's Lil' Roar had none. Regina was well represented at the Lil' Roar in the past, with three teams entered in 2015, four in 2016, 10 in 2017, 10 in 2018, six in 2019, none in 2020 due to the tourney being cancelled due to health concerns, zero in 2021, one in 2022 (Regina Crush in 8th-grade boys) and zero in 2023.
