CROSS COUNTRY — They are going to practice ASAP: When the clock strikes midnight and the start of a new day on Friday, August 11 begins, one can bet the house the Scobey High School cross country teams will be practicing at Plainsmen Field at 12:00.01 a.m. That is the time Montana High School Association teams, whether it's cross country, football or volleyball, can conduct their first official practice... if they want to stay up that late. There's plenty to be excited about in the 2023 season as the Scobey girls are looking oh-so-tough after placing third in last season's Class C State Meet in Missoula and have plenty of firepower returning.
