MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD AUGUST 3, 4, AND 17, 2020.

August 3, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioner Lund, Commissioner Humbert and Commissioner Linder were present with the clerk.

Clifford Hames was present to observe the meeting.

Meeting was called to order.

The Board recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Kathy French, Treasurer, informed the Board that she would be advertising for the deputy position.

Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve July 2020 minutes, Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Charles Trower, Klear-Vu TV Board member, met with the Board to inform them that the fiber optic line has been run from Poplar to the antenna.

Duane Anderson, Sheriff, and Steven Williams, Undersheriff, met with the Board to discuss various matters.

The Board approved JV#8301-8308.

The Board approved July 2020 payroll.

The Board reviewed the letter from the Scobey Fire Department showing that they had voted Neil Holum in as Daniels County Rural Fire Chief with the Board of County Commissioners approval.
