Headed To Centerville For The Game? 790 Miles Roundtrip From Whitetail!

Prep Playoff Preview, Week 2

One weekend down, three to go for the Montana High School Association football playoffs. The bad news this week is the closest game in any of the five classifications from Scobey is 542 round-trip miles! That would be Hysham, where the Custer-Hysham-Melstone Rebels are hosting the MonDak Thunder at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Next closest is 574 round-trip miles away from Four Buttes, which is Golden Eagle Stadium in Lewistown where the locals are hosting the Hamilton Broncs Saturday at 1 p.m.

Rounding out the top five are: Chester, where the Chester- Joplin-Inverness Hi-Line Hawks host the Froid-Lake Redhawks Saturday at 1 p.m. on Rick O’Brien Memorial Field, a 604-mile roundtrip from Peerless; Fort Benton, where the local Longhorns host the Superior Bobcats on Longhorn Field at 1 p.m. Saturday, a 698-mile roundtrip from Flaxville; Centerville, southeast of Great Falls in the gulch, which hosts the West Yellowstone Wolverines Saturday at 1 p.m. and is 790 miles roundtrip from Whitetail.

Don’t forget the very minimal streaming fee from the National Federation of High Schools website to watch all the playoff games from the comfort of your home or business (log onto nfhsnetwork.com to do so).
