MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DANIELS COUNTY, MONTANA, HELD OCTOBER 2, 3, AND 16, 2023.

REGULAR MEETING

October 2, 9 o’clock a.m.

The Board met in regular session, Commissioners Linder, Humbert and Lund were present with the clerk.

The meeting was called to order. Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Commissioner Lund made a motion to approve the agenda, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Commissioner Humbert made a motion to approve September 2023 minutes. Commissioner Lund seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

The Board reviewed the officer reports for September 2023.

The Board approved payroll for September 2023.

Logan Olson, County Attorney, met with the Board regarding the public service loan forgiveness and temporary expanded PSLF certification and application. Commissioner Lund made a motion to sign said agreement, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Mary Nyhus, DES Coordinator, met with the Board to have the Emergency Preparedness grant and obligation letter approved and signed. Commissioner Lund made a motion to sign said agreement, Commissioner Humbert seconded the motion, all present voted in favor, motion passed.

Shawna Lowe, TAC Officer, met with Board to give them an update on the new call works program, the new doors that are left to get installed, some electrical and baseboard left to be done. Industrial Communication is shutting down their business. Brian Mehus, former employee of Industrial Communication, and now is Redtail Communications is going to be providing a quote for the radio system.
