The story of the Burmuda Triangle of Broadcasting being Dodson High School due to its low elevation status was told in last week’s issue of the Daniels County Leader. . Everything was A-OK last Friday night through the girls’ game and virtually all of the boys’ game until "a line drop" occurred in the final two minutes of the action.

It really didn’t matter much as the Scobey boys had a 73-15 lead at the time of the "drop" when dropping the Coyotes in a 78-19 final.

They stayed the course and basically did the same thing to District 3C newcomer Circle Wildcats Saturday afternoon with a 6226 win, keeping their overall record unblemished.

The two victories keep the Spartans (6-0, 2-0 3C, 379-179, 63.1-29.8) atop the District 3C standings, along with the Lustre Christian Lions (6-0, 2-0 3C, 375-207, 75.0-41.4) and North Country Mavericks (2-3, 2-0 3C, 276-264, 55.2-52.8).

The remainder of those District 3C standings look like this: Nashua 2-2, 1-1, Circle 2-2, 0-1; Dodson 2-2, 0-2; Frazer 0-6, 0-3.
