Methodist Pastor Passes Out Silver To Congregation– Before the astonished eyes of his flock in church last Sunday, the Rev. James Knorr produced a heavy sack which he up-ended, and out of which cascaded a stream of silver dollars.

He invited all present to help themselves - but, that on the first Sunday of Lent, each would be required to give an accounting for the money taken. It was the Lord’s money, and to see what they could do with it.
