Just Another Typical Spring Golf Season
SETH HALVERSON, a freshman at Scobey High School, attempts to hit one of the two cardboard boxes on the driving range at the Scobey Golf Course during a practice as few weeks ago. The 14 kids were divided into two teams and each golfer would hit a ball with the intent of hitting one of the two boxes, with a hit being one point. In the process the kids were working on their chipping skills and having much fun in doing so. Braxton Wolfe actually hit a shot that entered the open-top of the box for a modified hole-in-one. All 14 had a fun time with the competition and looking at Halverson shirt, the weather was absolutely gorgeous—for April anyway. The Spartans host the Scobey Invitational Monday, May 29, starting at 9 a.m. and all are welcomed to attend and watch the action from various locations. — Leader Photo, mike
