Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with council members Paul Landeraaen, Niki Larson, Greg Crowder and Seth Axtman present. Also, in attendance were Brian French, Bridget Norby, Sheriff Clint Lowe and TAC Officer Shauna Lowe, Stephanie McGowan, Kim Thieven, Fire Chief Wyatt Wilder and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

Public Works Report – Green cans have been placed; Senior banners to be put up; Water to be turned on at park.

Zoning Administrator Report – Zoning Administrator Steve Berreth reported the Zoning Commission voted to meet quarterly instead of monthly unless needed, so next meeting is scheduled for July 10, 2024. Three houses have been torn down this month.

Fire Chief Report – Fire Chief Wyatt presented a $3,000 quote for helmets for. Discussion was brought up about the standby charge of $60 from the Ambulance Association to the City. Wyatt was asked if the fire dept wants the ambulance on standby for firemen on structural fires? Discussion occurred who is responsible for standby charges. The ambulance has never been jus...
