The 13th annual Independence Bank-Nemont Classic played Saturday, June 1, at the Scobey Golf Course drew 80 competitors making up 20 teams.

The squad of Ryan Harrington, Twyla Holum, Brian Wahl and Michelle Wahl were the winners with a net score of 51.86.

In the runnersup spot were Jefferson and Maleah Jones and Seth and Jacklynn Nelson, who were 1.59 of a net stroke behind the winners.

Third place went to Robin Fladager, Cale Handran, Peyton Nieskens and Rob Rouse, who were 2.96 net strokes back of the champions.

This weekend will again be a busy one on the local 9-hole layout as the Women’s Tournament featuring 2-lady teams goes Saturday, June 8. The next day, on Sunday, June 9, is the annual Adult/Youth Tournament.
