City Business . . .

Taken from the unapproved minutes of the regular meeting of City Council, City of Scobey, Montana held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.

REGULAR MEETING Mayor Morgan Lekvold called the meeting to order with council members Niki Larson, Seth Axtman and Greg Crowder present. Also, in attendance were Brian French, Fire Chief Wyatt Wilder, PWD Steve Berreth, City Attorney Ben Fosland and Clerk Sonya M. Southland.

Utility Clerk Report Utility Clerk Armbrust reported on a few “problem” accounts. She asked Council to consider setting a policy to stop charging after a certain number of months on “abandoned” accounts. Inventory on Service Line letters are drafted and ready to mail out. The city is required to identify the material type of private water service lines.

Pool –PWDSteveBerreth reported the pool is up and running – getting chemicals leveled out.

Public Works Report –
