RODEO — Eleven days and counting: The 2024 Opheim Rodeo, this year in memory of Lee Risa, is set for Sunday, June 30. The parade starts lining up at 11:30 a.m. and begins traversing Main Street at 12 noon. The rodeo starts at 1 p.m. Concessions and beer garden will be on site. The stock contractor is Treasure State Rodeo. The events include ranch bronc ride, saddle bronc, bareback, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, ladies breakaway roping, ladies barrel racing, team roping, junior breakaway, junior barrels (ages 11-15) and kids barrels (ages 10 and under). Their will also be a Wild Pony Race and kid games.
