The Scobey White Sox 9-10 year-old baseball team made a clean sweep of things at the Big Muddy League Tournament held June 29-30 at Sportsman Park in Plentywood.

In their first game Saturday at 10:30 a.m. they took it to Culbertson 14-4 that was called after three and one-half innings due to the 10-run rule.

Scobey's first five batters of Rush Lund (single), Bentley Thompson (base on balls), Seton Wolfe (double), Maximus Winge-Petersen (base on balls) and Bridger Anderberg (single) all scored in the bottom of the first inning for a very quick 5-0 lead.

The high scoring didn’t stop there as Scobey’s next four batters in the bottom of the second frame scored as well making it 9-0, including: Lander Tade (base on balls), Edwin Fishell (single), Mariano Rivera (base on balls), Nolan Kimball (base on balls). After Culbertson secured couple of outs, Thompson, who got on base via base on balls, tallied making it 10-0 in an eventual 14-4 win.
