Road Report Given Lions Club Monday– Extension of Number 5 highway west from Scobey, thereby putting it on the seven percent system of trunk highways, was quite out of the question, Mons Tonjum informed the Lions.

Mr. Tonjum was one of the delegation from here who went to Helena to take the matter up with the state highway commission. He said the state would not consider oiling or improving the road to Four Buttes, although the commission’s counting machines show this piece of road to carry the heaviest traffic in the county.
