New Man Comes To Take Over Bank Affairs– M. R. Kloster, of Hebron, N.D. who there served as cashier and managing officer for the Security Bank, has been elected cashier of the Citizens State Bank of Scobey, effective Sept. 15.

He fills the vacancy caused by the recent death of the late P. B. Murphy, whose demise brought to an end one of the most colorful banking careers in Eastern Montana.

Chas. P. Jones, Peerless Pioneer, Dies Monday–

Charley Peter Jones, 79, passed into peaceful sleep Monday at his farm home in the Peerless community. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Scobey on Friday.
