The Scobey varsity girls’ volleyball team handled both of its opponents last week with victories against the Wolf Point Wolves and Brockton Warriors in matches played in those two communities.

The victory over the Warriors gives the Spartans a 3-0 record in District 1 conference action. Scobey will attempt to make that mark 5-0 this weekend when playing the Richey-Lambert Fusion in Richey (JH, JV, V, 4 p.m.+15 minutes+20 minutes) Friday, September 27. On Saturday, September 28, the Spartans will play in Plentywood against the Wildcats (JV, V, 1 p.m.+20 minutes).

While the local high school teams will be on the road, there will still be more-than-plenty of volleyball action to be taken in this Saturday (Sept. 28) in the local large gymnasium as the Scobey Jamboree makes its an...
