The regular season for the Scobey cross country programs has finally come down to one final meet, which is the Culbertson Invitational.

It goes on Friday, October 18, and is headquartered out of the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds on Culbertson’s north side. The first race be gins at 10 a.m.

The start and finish line of the Culbertson Invite is right in the fairgrounds complex, where a pavement surface sends runners on their way and greets them when they finish the race. In between the harriers also journey through a residential area and, to the north of the fairgrounds and airport runway, traverse a dirt path.

High School teams in this regular-season finale include Scobey along with Baker, Brockton, Circle, Culbertson, Fairview, Fraz er, Plentywood, Richey-Lambert, Trenton (of North Dakota), Trinity Christian (of Williston, N.D.) and Wolf Point.

All of the teams mentioned will also have their middle school kids (grades 5-8) competing as well. Poplar will have its middle school kids competing but not its high school runners.
