County Treasury Filling
Up With Tax Payments– The county treasurer’s office reported that better than half the taxes for 1949 have been paid. During the months of October and November $49,615.50 was received for first half payments. More, however, chose to pay both the first and second half in one payment. Figured for those who did this total $195,254.56 – making a total of $244,870,06 paid in by Daniels County tax payers for 1949 taxes.
Soil Tests Taken At Hospital Site For Planning Construction– A meeting of the holdover and newly elected trustees of the Daniels Memorial Hospital was conducted at which time the group named directors from its body.
