Lustre Teams Go Southwest To Play Tigers And Eagles

 

The Lustre Christian Lions headed way southwest in Montana to compete against the Class B Manhattan Tigers and Class C Manhattan Christian Eagles, both schools located not too far northwest and west of Bozeman respectively.

The Lustre Christian girls (3-1, 173-161, 43.240.2) defeated Manhattan 40-30 Friday, December 13, behind Kencia Brown’s 21 points. On Saturday the Lady Lions lost a tight one 30-27 to Manhattan Christian, with Lauryn Holzrichter being the leading scorer with 12 markers.

The Lustre Christian boys (4-0, 275-141, 68.735.2), who earlier this calendar year brought back to their northeast Valley County community the State C Tournament’s third-place trophy, have yet to taste defeat in this young 2024-25 season.
