The big question concerning the Scobey boys’ golf team heading into the 2025 season is this: what do they have up their sleeve for an encore?
Surely the mind-set is a repeat of the 2024 season, where it earned Scobey High School’s first-ever Class C state golf championship, edging the Manhattan Christian Eagles 261248—509 to 266-244—510 at the Hamilton Golf Club’s 18-hole course.
Three-quarters of last season’s 2024 team is back as juniors—talk about a luxury!— as then-senior Braxton Wolfe graduated shortly thereafter the State C.
