A MAJOR REDO on 5th Avenue between Main Street and Timmons is underway. Work began Tuesday by Hardrives Construction of Billings.

This is the street directly in front of Daniels Memorial and has been a maintenance problem child for the City and patrons for years due to ground heaving and constant breaking up due to water issues.

Those entering the hospital will need to enter the east side emergency entrance until completed, which is expected to be May 2. Some parking is also available on that side of the hospital.

The project which they have been preparing for a few years, is expected to be approximately $300,000, coming from the street maintenance fund. The fund will pay for the street and a small amount of collapsed curbing. The Hospital is picking up the tab on all the other curb, sidewalk and the ...
