The Celebration of Lights is an annual DMH Foundation event that raises funds for the Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center throughout the Holiday season. When you purchase a light during the Celebration, your donation will be designated towards the purchase of a new Trauma Stretcher bed for the Emergency Department. The bed is ideal for use in both trauma and emergency situations. Currently the ER is down to only one usable trauma bed and is in need of a second bed to utilize. Cost for one bed comes to around $7100. Your purchased light(s) in honor or in memory of a loved one will not only be a thoughtful tribute, but it will genuinely assist the Foundation towards their goal of providing essential healthcare services in the community. New this year, will be Christmas lightbulbs placed on the hedge, outside of DMHC that face Main St. As your memorials come in, a placard tag will be connected to a lightbulb on the hedge with your name (donor) and who you are remembering in memory or in honor of.
