Students of the Month at Scobey Schools Our elementary student of the month is 6th grader Tegan Mahler. Her parents are Heidi and Todd Mahler. During school, Tegan enjoys math and science, as well as noon volleyball. Her favorite subject is math and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Backman. Tegan’s role model is Emma Watson. When she grows up she wants to be an actress or a lawyer. Outside of school, Tegan enjoys watching Harry Potter movies, playing softball, and participating in 4-H. Our junior high student of the month is 7th grader Delbert Sones. His parents are David and Alicia Sones. Delbert is active in track and cross country. His favorite subject is math and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Holum. Delbert’s role model is Tristan Lekvold. When he gets older he wants to be a farmer. Outside of school, Delbert likes to ranch and participate in 4-H. His siblings are Sandra, Hazel, Esmeralda, Donald, and Sarah. Our high school student of the month is junior Madelyn Willis. Mady’s parents are Jodi and Kendall Willis. She is active in volleyball and track. Mady’s favorite subject is science and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Holum. Mady’s role model is Ms. Wittak. When she graduates she would like to go to school to be a nurse.
