Students of the Month at Scobey Schools Our elementary student of the month is kindergartener Kain Hammar. His parents are Joe and Cydney Hammar. Kain enjoys doing math, reading and running at school. His favorite subject is math. Kain enjoys all of his teachers. Kain’s role models are his parents. When he grows up he wants to be a teacher. Kain likes to play catch, play with his brother and ride his bike. Kain has one brother, Knox. Our junior high student of the month is 8th grader Sebastian McGowan. His parents are Scott and Stephanie McGowan. Sebastian is involved in basketball, football and track. His favorite subject is history and his favorite teacher is Mr. States. Sebastian’s role model is his dad. When he gets older he wants to be a farmer. Outside of school Sebastian likes to golf, and work at Air Design and on the farm. Sebastian’s siblings are Simon, Sophie and Stevie. Our high school student of the month is junior Kaz Holum. Kaz’s parents are Kevin and Melissa Holum. His siblings are Mayson, Camrie, Tyce, Jett and Maddex. He is active in cross country, basketball, track and Student Council. Kaz’s favorite subject is math and his favorite teacher is Mr. States. Kaz’s role model is Collin Wahl. After graduation, Kaz is interested in going into architecture.
