Daniels County Conservation District is Hiring! DCCD is seeking a Part-time Administrator to manage financial, administrative, and ag-based tasks: • Record keeping (QuickBooks) and taking minutes • Communicating with the DCCD board (7 members) • Generating a quarterly newsletter for producers • Organizing for monthly meetings (2nd Wed. of every month) • Managing grants, funding opportunities, equipment rentals • Building a solid communication presence on the DCCD Facebook page • Working in office with NRCS and FSA professionals as well as outdoor tasks w/equipment rentals at the district’s shop • Interacting with producers and customers and businesses via phone calls, text messages, emails, and in writing • Attending Fall Area Meetings (September), the State Convention (November), and administrative training seminars and webinars • Networking with nearby Conservation District Administrators Office Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Some work from home may be considered or en couraged at times. Time sheet submittal is required. Hourly wage depends on experience. Position remains open until filled. Candidates may be called immediately for an interview. The ideal candidate will have an interest in agriculture, is punctual with deadlines, enjoys some flexibility, and is eager to meet new people while representing our conservation district at area and state meetings.
