Daniels County Growth Policy Update Daniels County is in the process of updating their County wide growth policy. A growth policy is a document that the county can use to help guide growth and development throughout the County, and to identify policies and projects to influence character, manage change, and benefit the County’s residents through long term planning. It should be noted that the document is not a regulatory document, but is however a living, guiding document or tool for the County. This growth policy document helps the County qualify for grant funds through many state agencies and is intended to be updated every five years. Interstate Engineering is helping the County with this update and has helped secure funding through the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) which will allow the County to complete the update with only a 25% cost share from the County. During the preparation of this updated plan, Community engagement is an important part of the plan. The County would like to ask the public’s cooperation in this process by taking a short survey to help guide the future of the County. The survey is available at the Daniels County Clerk and Recorder’s office, on the Daniels County Website at https://www.danielscountymt.gov, or by scanning the QR code shown below. If anybody has any questions, they are welcome to reach out to Mary Nyhus Daniels County Planning Board, 213 Main St. Scobey, MT 59263
