Students of the Month at Scobey Schools Our elementary student of the month is 5th grader Avery Hanson. Her parents are Justin and Rebecca Hanson. Avery enjoys reading and playing basketball while at school. Her favorite subject is math and Mrs. Backman is her favorite teacher. Avery’s role model is her mom and when she grows up she wants to be a professional basketball player. Outside of school, Avery likes to run, play Roblox, and hang out with her sister, Elly. Our junior high student of the month is 7th grader Wayne French. His parents are AJ and Amber French. Wayne is active in football. He couldn’t choose a favorite subject but enjoys math, science and English. His favorite teacher is Mr. Euken. Wayne’s role model is his dad. When he gets older he wants to be a lawyer or a teacher. Outside of school Wayne likes to play video games, football and basketball. Wayne has one younger brother, Charlie. Our high school student of the month is sophomore Aydan Stentoft. Aydan’s parents are Matt and Melinda Stentoft. He is active in football, basketball, golf and band. Aydan’s favorite subject is math and his favorite teacher is Mr. Berryhill. Aydan’s role model is Pastor Kelley. After graduation, Aydan is interested in going into welding. Outside of school Aydan likes to snowmobile, participate in swim team and help on the farm.
