Daniels Memorial Highlights Patient Safety Awareness Week The Safety Committee at Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center (pictured above) shared the importance of safety for all in the healthcare facility, including patients, employees, and visitors. During Patient Safety Awareness Week, March 9-15, Safety Committee members highlighted the safety improvements made within the facility, including: a new ADA clinic door, carpet installed in ER vestibule, carpet installed at dietary entrance, and floors stripped, resealed and waxed in multiple patient care areas. Starting in April, the Safety Committee will be introducing the ability to use safety issue reporting cards to submit a safety concern to the Safety Committee. Look for these safety reporting cards and lock boxes near the Long-Term Care Login Book, Clinic Reception, and Therapy Reception for patients, staff and visitors to use.
